The room is beautiful little and well-appointed with somewhere safe downstairs, the real fire place plus a comfortable bed. The location is quiet and picturesque and very close to Scotland and bar/ restaurant. The staff is very amiable, and the host too.

As vegetarians and vegans, we loved the variety of homemade vegetarian and vegan options available for breakfast and dinner. The hotel's willingness to cater to our dietary needs was greatly appreciated.
Felt totally relaxed, no reason to complain.

Rob
the breakfast was exceptional and there were a wide range of options. the staff was very amiable and extremely helpful, with nice attitude.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were scruffy.

Glyn
The hotel provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The food was exceptional, with a great variety of fresh, local produce to choose from. We especially loved the tempura battered haddock and the venison and spicy steak pie. The location was perfect, with ample private parking and beautiful countryside nearby for exploring.
The common areas of the hotel could use some TLC, as they appeared in need of a good paint job and thorough cleaning.

The food was great, accommodating dietary needs. Staff were helpful. Good for active travelers, who want clean beds, warm showers, and home-cooked meals. Bike storage available. Sound advice on routes.
